Saudi Arabia registers 1,275 foreign companies in one month with more than $2.7 billion in capital

October registrations span investors from 45 countries, with authorised capital totalling SAR 10.3 billion

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Saudi Arabia registered 1,275 new foreign companies in October 2026 with combined authorised capital of SAR 10.3 billion, equivalent to approximately $2.75 billion, according to Federation of Saudi Chambers data, highlighting the Saudi market’s appeal to international investors and the range of business opportunities attracting them.

The new companies involved investors from 45 countries, with registrations averaging about 56 per working day. The diversity of investor origins places Saudi Arabia among the business establishment options considered by investors from a wide range of markets.

Manufacturing and construction led the sector mix, together accounting for 57% of the number of new foreign company registrations during the month, highlighting their role in attracting foreign businesses. Manufacturing accounted for 35% of new establishments and construction for 22%, followed by information and communications technology at 10%, agriculture and wholesale and retail trade at 7% each, and transport at 4%.

Sultan Al-Mosallam, Secretary-General of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, said the figures were the result of sustained reforms over the past decade and aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 priorities, particularly manufacturing and construction, given their wider effects on supply chains. He expressed hope that the registrations would translate into the deployment of capital in the coming months.

Investor interest also extended beyond major cities, reflecting the variety of opportunities across the Kingdom, he said. He highlighted the Federation’s efforts to connect foreign investors with suitable Saudi partners, complementing government work to facilitate business.

October’s figures bring the scale and geographical breadth of foreign business formation into focus, combining new company registrations, investors from multiple markets and more than SAR 10 billion in authorised capital in a single month.
